It is with a very heavy heart that we offer Hugo, our beloved VW T4 campervan, for sale. After 2 wonderful years as part of our family, family changes mean we now need to upgrade to a Crafter. This has been one of the hardest decisions we’ve had to make, as he has been the most reliable, trusty companion through every adventure we could dream of.
Hugo has taken us everywhere: from Scotland 500 to the Lake District, down to the Cornish coast and all over Wales, plus many more adventures. In all that time, he has never once let us down. He’s spent a little too much time parked up this year, and he deserves to be out on the road again, waking up in wild spots, with the kettle boiling first thing in the morning – that magic feeling is exactly what
We are only letting him go to a home where he will be cherished, used, and looked after as well as we have cared for him. He’s got plenty of life and adventure left in him, and we’d love to know he’s heading to a new family who will love him just as much as we do.
Hugo is a fully converted campervan, originally converted by Cheshire Motor Caravans, and tweaked, upgraded and improved over the years to make him comfortable, reliable and a joy to drive and live in.

Engine & Mechanics
– 2001 VW T4 SWB | 2.5 TDI
– Remapped by Pendle Performance in 2011 – now 117BHP (up from standard 88BHP) – he pulls brilliantly, overtaking is effortless, and he’s a pleasure to drive on any road.
– 161000 miles.
– 12 months MOT when sold.
– Service history.
– Timing belt replaced last year at 158000 miles including diesel pump timing belt full service at the same time .
– 18 inch 3DSM wheels with almost new tyres.
– Slightly lowered suspension (New shocks, springs and ball joints fitted).
